Ashley M. Tulley

-Occupation: IT Solutions

-Demographic and Education: 27 years old. Mid-level IT Tech for a local company with an Associate’s Degree in general studies and IT Support.

-Goals and Motivation for Using the Site: For a weekend backpacking trip to the mountains with her friends.

-Social: Very active person, loves the outdoors and spends the majority of her free time there. Although she is single, she enjoys getting friends together for multi-day trips to the mountains.

Technology: Primarily a mac user and owns an iPhone. She is loyal to the brand as they speak to her culture. She strongly believes in the cloud and utilizes most of what Google has to offer for documents and email.

Jon Briggert

- Occupation: Retired Police Officer/Current Team Lead for local Search and Rescue.

- Demographic and Education: 56 years old. Retired for the past 6 years and took the mantle of team lead at the local S&R. Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Master’s in Public Administration.

- Goals and Motivation for Using the Site: Use of the site would be for multiple reasons, one of which would include any quick checks to ensure his team is prepared for the weather they will come into contact with.

- Social: Jon spends time with his wife and last child that is still living at home. They enjoy fishing and camping with some of their friends, but mostly keep to themselves. Jon keeps up with survival skills and self-preparedness workshops.

- Technology: Jon uses what is available to him. He is accustomed to windows products and owns an HP. He utilizes an Android mobile phone because his culture doesn’t align with Mac’s beliefs and he doesn’t like to be forced into anything, especially updates. If he could own a flip phone and still accomplish his work, he would. He is familiar with all technology that he and his team use, but does not enjoy technology.
